The Stone House
In the old days, these premises included a house, a stable as well as a patio where sheep were sheared. The patio is 100 m² large, it includes a fountain, creeping plants and a few trees. A beautiful walnut tree provides shade in the summer time, and lets the light in during the winter days. The patio is a nice space to entertain and relax the year round.
The main architectural feature of this house are its exposed stone walls and the fine brick floors.
LA CASA DE LAS PIEDRAS has 3 levels that total 120 m². Each room is fully heated.
The house provides space to work, rest, live, and enjoy very nice views from its windows and terraces. |
First floor : two large bedrooms, one twin bedded, the other with a large double bed. A seven door wardrobe and a bathroom with bath-tub and WC complete this floor. About us
The little Slope
We are a local couple. For many years, we have spent week ends at the mountain white village of VILLALUENGA DEL ROSARIO ; we loved its typical stone houses built on the rocks, its flowers and trees, the small village inn and restaurant, the excellent cheeses and cured ham, the magnificent mountains covered with wild flowers in the springtime, and the absolute quietness of the place.
For years, we were unsuccessful in finding a typical house that we could buy and restore for ourselves. Eventually, one day, we saw a wooden panel on CASA VICTORIA with the words : FOR SALE and a phone number. CASA VICTORIA was our favourite option and we could not believe it was available. We called the landlord, bought the house which, actually had been for sale for a few months.
We restored the CASITA and bought 4 additional houses ; It took 4 years for us to restore, decorate and furnish our 5 “cottages of charm”.
